1909年,L’Oréal’ 的起源:
革命性的髮色和高瞻遠矚的創辦人 

L’Oréal在1909年創立,源於化學家Eugène Schueller的靈機一觸。女性開始接受較為男性化風格的潮流,希望有短金髮。他為一個染髮配方申請了專利,這與當時市場的產品與別不同,完全可以安全使用。染髮劑在未來數十年是公司的重點。

1960至1970年代:以解放推動者身份帶來創新

在60年代,碧姬·芭鐸(Brigitte Bardot)令長髮成為潮流,這可以展現性感野性魅力,或呈現整齊的髮髻。公司在Dalle的帶領下緊貼潮流,設計了符合女性所需效果的產品,同時確保使用安全。家居染髮品牌Préférence在1970年代推出,而品牌聞名全球的標語「因為我值得擁有」更成為了轉捩點。這是首個突顯自信的重要性的廣告訊息。
