氧化壓力是甚麼?

首先,氧化壓力跟心理壓力或焦慮不安完全無關。人體每天運作的過程都會產生自由基,這些物質對細胞有害,但是可以受到特定複合物的控制和消滅,亦即「排毒」。這些複合物稱之為抗氧化物。如果自由基和抗氧化物之間失衡,人體就會產生過多自由基,並且失去自我保護的能力。這就是氧化壓力的由來。無論氧化壓力的程度是高是低,都會引發體內幾種不同元素產生變性作用,包括蛋白質、脂質、糖、組織改變、肌肉和動脈。這種狀況會加劇肌膚衰老現象。

甚麼原因導致氧化壓力?

許多因素會導致氧化壓力,很難分辨哪個才是罪魁禍首。心血管疾病、癌症或引起發炎問題的慢性疾病,都有可能導致氧化壓力。緊張焦慮和體重過重也會造成自由基和抗氧化物之間的失衡現象。外界因素也不容忽視,例如污染、吸煙、飲酒、藥物、陽光、劇烈的體能活動或者久坐的生活方式。如果您的飲食中缺乏足夠的抗氧化物,也會出現失衡的狀況。

如何對抗氧化壓力?

要預防氧化壓力,最好的做法就是減少會導致這個現象的因素,例如吸煙或在陽光下曝曬。健康的生活方式和均衡的飲食習慣也能增強體質,提升抵抗自由基的能力。然而,補充抗氧化物是對抗氧化壓力的最好方法!  -飲食:主要補充維他命A(吞拿魚、芝士、雞蛋、橙肉和紅肉的蔬菜水果,包括紅蘿蔔、菠菜、牛油生菜、西蘭花和綠豆)、維他命C(柑橘類水果、熱帶水果、芫荽、奇異果、士多啤梨、西洋菜、椰菜仔、薯仔)和維他命E(葵花籽油、粟米油、葡萄籽油、杏仁、腰果、蝦、蟹、西蘭花、牛油果、露筍)、微量元素(硒、鋅、銅)和多酚(數種蔬果都含有多酚,紅酒和茶的抗氧化功效也來自這種成分)。  - 化妝品:由於您必須攝取大量富含抗氧化物的食物,才能真正看到效果,因此您可以借助乳霜的功效達到更好的效果。保濕和抗衰老乳霜現在幾乎都添加了抗氧化成分。 - 營養補充品:如果您的飲食均衡健康,就不需要特別攝取營養補充品。但是,如果想嘗試攝取抗氧化物,請特別注意攝取的種類和劑量,並諮詢藥劑師。
